I cannot believe that the semester is officially over and that I will be a Senior. This year was super busy as always but a great year! This week I attended the athletic banquet on Monday, Late Night Breakfast (my favorite event of the semester!!!) on Tuesday, and I finished all of my finals on Thursday. Changes, Challenges... Lessons in Independence : )))
It’s been rainy and dreary for the past couple of days. And the rain makes me think. A lot. Scary, I know : ) And since I am coming to the end of my Junior year, and actually the end of my year blogging for Albright College, I decided it was a really good time to look back on the past few years and see what I see. What do I do now?!

GAHHHH!
I am going to warn everyone right now… Most of the blogs you will see in the next few days will be about how nobody can believe the semester is almost over. But that’s only because we can’t believe that the semester is almost over!
I know I always talk about how fast time goes in college, but it’s because it’s true! Everything just flies by and before you know it you are heading into your SENIOR YEAR!

TAKE THE INITIATIVE!
My time here in Washington D.C. has helped me realize where I want to be in the near future. Before this internship experience, I was honestly not taking jobs after graduation seriously. This process helped me prepare for that. I am no longer afraid to nail it in an interview, give out my awesome resume, and continue my education as much as possible. So take a little advice from someone who has taken the initiative to stop out of their comfort zone and try new experiences.

April showers have brought pretty May flowers...
With tomorrow being the last day of classes and the weather being beautiful the past couple of days, I am very ready for summer! The past few weeks have been work heavy but I managed to get everything done and on time. It's such a relief when I finally hand in an assignment. Today was also the Ambassadors/Faces picnic. Reflections of my Internship
Overall, I had a wonderful experience at my internship and was so glad I had this opportunity. It feels very strange not going to my internship now that it is complete. I learned a lot of valuable information at my internship and a lot more about taxes. I also enjoyed tax much more than I thought I would. My favorite part about the internship is that I had the opportunity to apply what I learned in the class room to the real world, which was my primary goal. For now, we have one more week…

Down to the Wire!
Wow, tomorrow is May! Who knew? Good luck to those of you who are making your big college decisions before tomorrow and special congratulations to all of you who have picked Albright! Not like I'm biased or anything but I think you've made a terrific choice.

It is coming to an end!
My meeting with Senator Bob Casey was really great. We met him in front of the capitol building on the Senate stairs. We introduced ourselves and spoke about our internships. He is really great guy. We took a picture and walked over to his office building to speak with one of his legislative aid. We spoke about different issues and topics that interest us.
