What a tough decision! I'll have to go with Dr. Campbell because as a senior I know everything she does and don't know how she does it! She is the pre-health advisor for every single person looking to go to med school, vet school, or dental school. Aside from teaching, she is also taking Spanish and speaks it with students that she knows takes Spanish. She is the advisor for organizations such as Alpha Phi Omega, the co-ed service fraternity, and Alpha Epsilon Delta, the pre-professional health society. Dr. Campbell responds to e-mails faster than anyone I know, at any time of the day even though you think she may be sleeping, and she does not try to "trick" any student on any test as some people would say. Everything is straight forward because you know the difference between what is important or what is not (anything she mentions or teaches-important!). Lastly, any question that is slightly related to the science building, science major, or those clubs, I send to Dr. Campbell. What a help she has been with sending letters to medical schools for me!

Easy. Dr. Brian Jennings, professor of Environmental Studies and Sociology, is my favorite instructor here on campus. It's so simple because I can honestly say that my Albright experience has been defined upon my relationship with him. As a freshman I knew that engaging in undergraduate research was something I wanted to take part in. Little did I know that the deadline for research proposals was due from when I first found my interest, so I had to fly to meet the deadline. I also had only transferred to Albright the month before and didn't know entirely where I was going, much less who to look for as a faculty mentor! Nonetheless, I wound up in the sociology lounge and that's when Dr. Jennings took notice to how lost I was. It was a casual run-in but only took five minutes to go from lost freshman transfer to grounded research pursuer. Long story short, we received funding for the project, worked together all summer, and have become great friends as a result. Since then, I have traveled to Ecuador to take a class of his during our interim session in addition to working alongside him this past summer on a sustainability analysis of our college. So when you meet me on tour and you hear me say that I am an international business and environmental studies major, blame him!!

Although this is a tough decision, I will have to go with Guillame De Syon. I have had him for two classes here at Albright. If I was not a Fashion Communications major I would be History. I love the way he teaches his classes. He is well organized, and talks to you as a student not at you. Overall a great teacher.

I am a math major. My favorite math professor is easily Dr. Christopher Catone. Dr. Catone is articulate, layed back, and challenging. I learn the most in his courses. He pushes us to work hard, but somehow makes us enjoy the process.
In the humanities, Dr. Alberto Cacicedo has made a lasting impression on me. I took an honors composition class in my freshman year with Dr. Cacicedo and am still reaping the benefits of having studied under his supervision. No one at Albright College is more dedicated to their students. Dr. Cacicedo actually read and thought about each paper he graded and then handed it back with lots of comments on the paper along with his own typed up suggestions for how to make the paper better. He allowed us to rewrite each paper until we were happy with our score. This allowed me to improve my writing considerably.

That's a difficult decision! But one of my favorite professors, actually doesn't teach in my major. I took a philosophy course to complete a requirement for the Liberal Arts, and picked one that would most fit in my science-y schedule. Well, I lucked out! Dr. Lisa Bellantoni was absolutely wonderful! She made the class fun, but it was still challenging. While we, as students, sometimes wandered into silliness, she always brought us back on topic, though not harshly. She had a wonderful sense of humor and truly cared about the students she was teaching. I am not trying to work my schedule in order to take one of her classes again.

This is honetly a difficult question! I think that after pondering this question for about five minutes my answer would have to be Professor James Gaffney!!! The funny thing is that he is not even one of the professors from my major! He was my english teacher for both semesters of my freshman year and he was great! On the first day of class he gave our entire class a guarantee that he would always be there for us, whether it was for class or any other problems we were having and it was a guarantee for life, not just for when he was our teacher. Through his class, I learned a lot about myself and I grew to understand a lot of different things and appreciate every experience because of his class! And the reason why I am a psychology major is because of him also...he told me to follow MY dreams and not the dreams of what others would like me to be!!!

Since all the professors at Albright are rather great professors, it is pretty hard to make a decision on this. I'd have to say that its definitely between professor Rajan and professor Schott. They both are tremendous teachers and I have had them both for a couple of different classes. I enjoy the way they relate to individual college students and are so personable as well. Professor Schott is my advisor as well as my Principles of Selling class professor; his class is so enjoyable and I always look forward to coming to class and seeing what new things were going to learn in class. They are also great professors because they have prepared me for what lies ahead. And I feel I can use their teachings in a positive way to improve my future. Big shout out to my professorsss Rajan and Schott!

Tough question... but if I had to pick my absolute favorite professor at Albright would be Dr. Snyder in the psychology department! I have had Dr. Snyder for 3 classes at Albright and they have all been the most interesting and intense courses i've ever had, she loves to talk about the unconscious mind and how human beings are a limitless species capable of such good and infinite knowledge! its amazing to think about how much potential we as human beings posses but don't realize on a daily basis. She loves to tell jokes and really relate to students on a personal level, giving examples of her life including her time at Albright, and what it was like becoming such a successful psychologist as a woman. Dr snyder never has a dull moment in her class room, and i'm happy to be with her again this year for the third year in a row! she's teaching me Cognitive Psychology, and the importance of cognition, thinking, and how we construct reality! sounds interesting rifght?!!

Tough one, but I'm going to have to go with Professor Greenwood. I only had her as a teacher once, but ever since then I have been itching to take another class with her! She's super sweet, hilarious, and relatable; which makes up for all the reading and attention to detail on papers, haha. She's also always willing to read over a paper. The most important thing for me, though, is that she still remembers me every time I see her, and I haven't had a class with her in four semesters!

Janice Rodriguez!!!! One of the things that I love about a liberal arts school is that you get to take classes that are outside of your comfort zone. Spanish is definitely outside my comfort zone! Janice Rodriguez was my professor for my second semester of Spanish. Her love for the language and her enthusiasm was infectious. She made me love to speak the language and made me seriously consider adding Spanish as a co-concentration. She was an incredible professor and really helped my class grasp the language by teaching it so well. She also is a fellow Joss Whedon fan! My class with her is over but we still catch up every now and then. She got me to watch Buffy and I got her to watch Battlestar Galactica. It just shows another great thing about studying at Albright: your professors will remain friendly and close to you even after you are done taking his/her class.

I have had so many amazing professors since I have been at albright... they are all so passionate about what they teach and I feel like no matter what your major is they are willing to teach and be there for their students as much as they can! Professor Riley has to be at the top of my list. His accounting class has to be one of the most challenging classes I have taken but he was always there for me when I needed that extra help! I had the class second semester of my freshman year and to this day he still says hi to me and asks me how everything is going. another one of my favorite professors would be Professor Jay. She has so much knowledge about everything in marketing! not only in the US but all over the world. I could listen to her talk all day! she has taught me how to think outside of the box in order to succeed. out of my major classes I have also taken a few history classes and they have been with Dr. Pankratz. He loves teaching history, and has taught so many different ones just over the 3 years I have been here. he is very well known on campus and helps perspective students to figure out what it is they truly want to do. He is an Alpha advisor along with history but loves the students who come in with an open mind looking for what they want to do in life. With some many amazing professors here at Albright, these are just a few that came to mind cause I could never just pick one!

Although I love all of my theatre professors equally, I'd have to say my favorite professor is Jeffrey Lentz. He has really taught me everything I need to know about theatre, as well as myself. He has always been there for me not only as a professor, but as a mentor and friend. As a freshman, I wasn't sure what I wanted out of a theatre career or even if I was sure I wanted to be a theatre major. Yet with Jeff's guidance, I soon realized that I wanted to do something with my life that would make me happy, despite what anyone else thought about it. I am currently having an indepedent study with him, and I strongly recommend for students to have a one on one class with someone who they really admire. You learn so much.
