Gotta Keep My Head Held High...

So, I've had a rough couple of days...there has been people teasing me behind my back, talking about how I can't sing and that I should never sing in public again. When I heard that, I came home and cried to my mom. I was so heart broken because words do hurt.

I got TWO scholarships from Albright!

I'm not going to say how much they are worth (I'm a little modest), but they are going to help loads! I never thought that my good work in HS would pay off so much. These scholarships makes it seem like the heads of Albright want me to attend their school so much. It's overwhelming. I can't wait until August 2009!

Look at how far we've come!

Tomorrow, at 12pm noon, we will be able to call Barack Obama, President Obama! It's so exciting! My mom has 7 tickets to see him be sworn into office. She is also volunteering, so she'll be busy tomorrow with all that stuff. My sister is going with her and I'm going to school, but I'm going to find a TV and watch it.

Steelers v. Ravens!!!

Ok, so the game started like an half hour ago, and the Ravens are not playing right. I live in Baltimore and you know I'm cheering on my home team. It got me thinking about when I go to Albright in the fall. Will I get ridiculed for being a Ravens fan in a Steelers town? lol! We'll see. Go Ravens!
