Near the End

Hello everyone I am back again and the things are starting to wind down. I only have a few more papers to write and two finals to take then my Jr. year at Albright has come to an end. This year has felt like it went by so fast. I do not know where the time is going and I am going to miss all of my friends when they graduate this year. I wish them the best of luck in the future and will try my best to keep in touch. What people say is true the friendships you make in college last forever. I can…See More

Easter Break

This year my Easter Break was different than last year. I did not go home like usual and my parents came down like usual. This time though instead of going out to dinner we cooked it in my house on campus. I am currently living in something new this year which is themed housing. What this is, is when one gets a group of friends together around 4-6 they can pick a theme. Some just go with a club or organization they are in. After one applies for it through housing. You have to a sophomore or…See More

Back at School

Hey everyone I'm back after a nice and relaxing Spring Break. It was not as warm as I would have liked it but fun none the less. I got to visit with my friends and family a lot over break which I loved doing. Also I got a lot of work done so that I am on the ball for my classes. While home I coached my old high school pole vaulters which was a ton of fun. They are really coming a long and we have some great new recruits. I cannot wait till I can see them jump in competition. Now that I am back…See More

Mid Semester

So we have finally reached midterms week. Other than finals this is the most stressful time for students. How do I battle the stress? I balance studying for exams and writing papers with some fun activities as well. I go to events on campus or just sit back and watch a movie. A movie with good friends is a great way to relieve stress. Also after midterms comes spring break. I cannot wait to finally get home and try to relax. I have some work to do over break, but not a ton. I just wanted to…See More

First Week of Spring

I could not wait to be back for the Spring semester or so I thought. The first week back was both fun and tiring. I ended up getting assigned a paper the first day of classes and a lot of reading assignments. Everything ended up going smoothly though which I thought was wonderful. Things are really falling into place and I am finding my groove for the Spring semester. My classes this semester are also really fun. I cannot wait to dive into my history classes even deeper; especially my Modern…See More

Happy New Year Already

Time is flying by so fast this year. We all survived to make to the year 2013; go human race. Time to get series. I am back at Albright taking an interim class and having the time of my life. Interim is probably one of the most fun times to be on campus. It is really quite and the classes are so much fun. I am taking educational theater right now which is a really fun class. We are learning about theatre and how it works in a classroom setting. We even have to put on a plan ourselves which I…See More

New Years Eve

It is finally here New Years Eve. One of my favorite days to spend at home with my family. I love our traditions we all just stay home we cook kraut dogs and watch the college football games. One other thing this means though is that this is the last night I get to spend at home with my family. For tomorrow on New Years day I have to travel back to school. When I get back to campus I have interim class to worry about the next day and track practice. Interim is a very fun time to be on campus.…See More

Christmas Break

I am so happy that I now get to sit back and relax for a bit. Christmas has to be one of my favorite times of year. Sure things around the holiday can be hecktic at times but it is always nice just sitting and being with family. I love just being around my family and friends this time of year. Everyone is always so happy. I would have to say the best part is Christmas day with all the great food that my relatives make. One great big feast with the entire family, I cannot wait. One big thing…See More

Thanksgiving Break

This Thanksgiving Break was one of the best that I ever had. I went and did all of the work that I needed to do the weekend before going home. So all I had to do while home was sit back and relax. I got to see all of my friends and family while home so it was great. This Thanksgiving I was most thankful to just be with all of my friends and family. Also the best thing to be thankful for was that my dad was in good health the whole time I was home. He even received a phone call from his doctor…See More

AC2 @ NACA

A few weeks back I went to a conference with an organization that I am part of called AC^2. What we did at this conference was learn how to better our organization and pick out events and acts for the spring semester. We learned a lot while at NACA and one huge thing I learned was a new job that I would be interested in doing. I found out that I could be a director of student activites and all I would have to do is go to grad school for it. I do not have to change my major at all. Another thing…See More

Fall Break!!!

I have been waiting for fall break for a while. Finally a time just to sit back and relex. Had a great time back home even though I still had to do some school work. I went back to my high school for my homecoming and had a blast. I also got to hang with all my friends back home again. One thing that I had to do over break was work on my observations for my education class here at Albright. I went back to my old high school and got to observe one of my old teachers and had a blast. I observed…See More

Fall Classes

So far classes are going pretty well. We are getting closer and closer to mid terms so professors are really coming with the work. I am not complaining at all though the way my classes are set up they are heavy with work at the beginning of the semester, but I know after midterms all my work for classes will start to be spaced out more and will be getting easier. One thing that I was able to do was teach my first lesson to a class it was fun yet terrifying at the same time. Standing in front of…See More
