And that is that. I, Jilian Duffy, have officially graduated this past Sunday from Albright. I know people have said graduation is not easy, but I wish someone prepared me for how difficult it would be once I was gone. They day after graduation, I woke up in my own bed and just sat there. Thinking about the future and how much I can really do with it. It did not hit me till Tuesday. I cried a lot on Tuesday. I guess it was when it sunk in that I am not in Bangor for the summer, no... I was here till I decided to get a job and move else where. I guess you could say that I was "homesick". Not for Bangor... this to me is temp housing, but for Albright... Reading. For that is where I have spent majority of my time for the past four years, that was home. Now, I sit here applying for jobs…

Chris getting ponded
Today was a different day here in the Admission office. We had our annual "celebrate the ambassador party" in which seniors get a lovely gift in exchange of our photos being taken off the wall. Ahah all and all usually we just eat. Yet today, was somethgin a little bit different. Today we got to pond Chris Boehm. We made a bet taht we could not get fifty people in ONE day to sign up to be Albrightians for fall of 2012. Needless to say, with the outstabding staff and great future students we made that goal and some. So enjoy this little glimps into the wonderful, fun, exciting world of Albright.

If I had three wishes one would be to stop time. Just for a bit, so I can be 22 year old senior for just a little bit longer. My time at Albright has only been the most amazing times of my life, and the idea that it is over in two weeks is MIND BLOWING. I sit here now to blog, while this week I have so much homework to complete so I can graduate on the 20th. I am trying to take it all in and really not regret anything once my time is up here.
Recently I had my sorority formal which was the best formal I have ever went too. My dress was $20.00 from ROSS, my date was my best friend Brandon, and I got to spend the entire night with my sisters. I could not have asked for a better time.
Then yesterday was oozeball, and for yall who do not know what that is, its a two day event where students on campus get to play volleyball in the mud !!! It is fantastic fun! This year was my…

I know a lot of my blogs talk about how I can NOT believe that I am graduating or that my time here at Albright is coming to an end... well thats all I keep thinking about. Lately, my sisters (ADPi) and I have been hanging out A LOT! And I am loving it so much... yet its the little things like this that I am going to miss. Last night my violet and I were sitting listening to music and sharing giggles about random stuff and singing along to our favorite songs. Yes college is difficult, and a few times in the past I have said…

IT IS HERE! That's right the week that sneaks up out of no where! Finals weeks. All last week was the last week of classes and the final crunch of it all. I only had one final today for my senior seminar class. It feels so good to be done with that! It was a lot of hard work, and took all semester to get to the point of the presentation. But it was worth it. Its crazy to think how fast this semester went and how in the past the spring semester goes so much faster... I hope it doesn't this year!!! I'm not ready to be a big kid yet!!! But until then I am going to enjoy late Night Breakfast tonight in the cafe and make it through the rest of this week !

Hello Jilian! I am a potential student for Albright College who is highly interested in the fashion department. I noticed on your profile that you are a fashion-merchandising major. I assume you spend quite a bit of your time in the fashion department. Is there anything you could tell me about the fashion program at Albright that is not available on the college website? I would appreciate any information about the program!
Thank you for your time!

Hello Jilian! Thank you for the information! It is nice to hear an honest opinion from a student with experience in the fashion department. I hope to sit-in on a fashion class this fall and view more of the facilities. I took a tour over the summer and was unable to view the fashion facilities because they were closed. However, I am impressed by Albright's buildings and kind staff and students. Anyway, thank you again!
Enjoy your senior year!

Hello Jilian! How are you? Are you enjoying your senior year? I hope your health is improving following your chest infection and eye infection.
I will be on Albright’s campus next week. I am scheduled to observe a “CAD” class in the fashion department on October 12 at 2:00pm. It will end at 3:50pm. I am wondering if you have some time in your schedule after 3:50pm to escort me on a tour around the fashion facilities.
If you have some time, please let me know! Thanks!
Kylah
