So, I'm currently waiting for my flight from Hong Kong to Bangkok. My group will be getting to Bhutan tomorrow afternoon where we will spend six weeks in the middle of nowhere studying environmental sustainability in a country trying to increase its standard of living while preserving its delicate, traditionally buddhist culture. 1. Today, Albright Food Services hosted its famous Thanksgiving lunch! From a vegetarian's perspective, it was awesome. From a student's perspective, Lex McMillan (President of Albright College), carved turkey for students throughout lunch, which is doubly awesome.2. Ok, so apparently, I'm bad at doing this once a month, but I'm working on it! Not a ton to report. I'm so happy to be back at Albright, but it has been extremely hectic. One of my biggest pieces of advice to give to students who hope to be active on campus is to use your Student Government Association (SGA). The purpose of the SGA is to serve the student body and student organizations. They want you to succeed and make a difference on campus and are totally approachable. Either way, use them.…See More
