Well I finished my last final on Friday and I spent this weekend packing up for the last time. The question I ask myself is: What do I do now? I am not sure what I want to do in the future, nor what I need. I am excited for the road ahead and look forward to being able to stretch my wings. I am going to warn everyone right now… Most of the blogs you will see in the next few days will be about how nobody can believe the semester is almost over. But that’s only because we can’t believe that the semester is almost over!

I know I always talk about how fast time goes in college, but it’s because it’s true! Everything just flies by and before you know it you are heading into your SENIOR YEAR!

My time here in Washington D.C. has helped me realize where I want to be in the near future. Before this internship experience, I was honestly not taking jobs after graduation seriously. This process helped me prepare for that. I am no longer afraid to nail it in an interview, give out my awesome resume, and continue my education as much as possible. So take a little advice from someone who has taken the initiative to stop out of their comfort zone and try new experiences.

With tomorrow being the last day of classes and the weather being beautiful the past couple of days, I am very ready for summer! My meeting with Senator Bob Casey was really great. We met him in front of the capitol building on the Senate stairs. We introduced ourselves and spoke about our internships. He is really great guy. We took a picture and walked over to his office building to speak with one of his legislative aid. We spoke about different issues and topics that interest us. Hello everyone I am back again and the things are starting to wind down. I only have a few more papers to write and two finals to take then my Jr. year at Albright has come to an end. This year has felt like it went by so fast. I do not know where the time is going and I am going to miss all of my friends when they graduate this year. So I updated my life as a senior, but not everything else! I am about to finish student teaching, as I mentioned.  I am still in sixth grade and I am going to miss them! They were very different from my first graders, but it was fun!  I just received an invitation to the Awards and Honors Dinner! Yay! How fun! I am so excited! Then the following night we have our athletics banquet!  It is going to be a busy next few weeks, but I am very excited!

How is it already the end of April?!  It doesn't seem possible!  I have one week of student teaching left, as of today!  I graduate in 3 weeks!  I am about to experience my own senior week!  WHAT?!  I haven't even fully convinced myself that I am really a senior yet!  I don't know when that will register.  Maybe after I graduate and am no longer even a student.  Time really does fly!

Currently sitting at our famous Albright Pond with the rest of my Brothers of Alpha Sigma Phi Fraternity! We are all taking shifts in the pond for 48 hours to raise money for Livestrong! We are selling tshirts and taking donations!

We have sold over 120 tshirts and have 19 hours left!

these last 2 weeks are stressful. papers, test, and all of that. I WILL SURVIVE! 

ITS COMING TO AN END AND REALITY IS SETTING IN SERIOUSLY. 

                This weekend I was able to make one my biggest dreams come true.  As a student at Albright College, I have always been so amused by the vast diversity on this campus. This program is moving very quickly and I have had barely anytime for myself! This weekend was a lot of fun because we finally had our “Fun Day on the Mall” fundraising event for my civic engagement project. We fundraised for the veterans’ group; Team Red White and Blue by hosting kickball, soccer, ultimate frisbee, and football games at the field across from the MLK memorial. Afterwards there was the main fundraising part at a local bar. I am so glad I am a part of the veterans’ civic…
