Hi everyone!!!



I am so excited to start blogging and figured this was the perfect time to start. I am a junior at Albright and am about to embark on an adventure of a lifetime! Sooooo, i'm not a college freshman anymore. That is terrifying. My first year at Albright flew by faster than I ever imagined that it would. I made some incredible friends and I honestly cannot wait to get back to them. Right now though, I'm in Delaware. It's finally summer! Which means I can BREATHE again and step off of the Albright life treadmill I've been running on for the past semester haha. It seems weird, but graduation was yesterday, which meant saying bye to a lot of good friends. In my other years there were always some people that were close to me and then others that I was pretty good friends with, but this year was even more difficult. There were so many people I tried to say goodbye to yesterday and I know I missed a lot. The good news is, at least I hope, that most of them will come back and visit. The last three weeks of the spring semester are crazy at Albright. It's hard to keep up with everything that is going on. As an employee you want to make it to everything because the seniors won't be around for much longer and once the semester ends everyone leaves and it's very quiet. So like the students, I try to pack as much in the last three weeks as possible. Here's a preview to what future Albrightians have in store for them in April and May.

So it is two weeks until I leave for Europe...and I still don't have a backpack- oooops.
I blame my senior seminar for making the past month super hectic and busy, but after tomorrow, I'm officially done with my senior sem. As much as I enjoyed Dr. Osgood and Dr. Jenning, this senior seminar kicked my butt and I can't wait to be able to talk to them without mentioning the Greater Reading Area Greenway Network :)

So today was officially the last day of classes. I spent a majority of the day working, but once I got back to the room my roomie was waiting for me. We spent over two hours laughing our butts off at the videos that she had made with her friend and telling stories to one another about our days. She literally makes my day whenever I talk to her.

It is 8:28 in the morning as I sit in the Computer Lab. I'm supposed to be doing homework but all I can manage doing is staring at the computer screen....or just zoning out as thought upon thought runs through my head.



Why?



Because there is only one week left.

So I'm finishing this paper, a research paper due next week. I have my mind set on finishing today, notice I said today and night tonight (no all nighters for me!). I'm giving myself until 9pm to do so, and it will just be done then. That's when the madness of finals begin. I hope that everyone stays cool and has a wonderful end of the semester/year! I know I will!

Since July of last year, I have been here in Syracuse studying and earning my Masters in Photography. It's been a great year and it's still not over. I have 3 more months left of study and I'll be done with credits, but not with the program. I still need to do a project that will show my abilities that I have learned over the past months and apply them to real world situations. So for anyone who has ever taken an Albright Tour you know about this poster in the showroom (our dorm room we showcase) that lists 150 things you MUST complete at Albright before you graduate. Yesterday was the Albright Honors and Awards Banquet they hold every year to recognize students and their achievements over the past year. I was fortunate enough to be invited this year to the event and loved every minute of it! I received two award last night. The first was a new award called the Music Business Leadership Award. Sorry I haven't blogged in a month. I'm a birdbrain, I know.

BUUUUT! I have finally figured out my summer plans- traveling through Europe for seven weeks.
I leave May 31st and don't come home until July 15th- seven weeks.

The route so far is this-

The semester is winding down around which means its almost time for graduation!

I am currently 3 Finals, 2 test, 3 presentations and 2 papers away from a College Diploma?! The crazy part is that all of these things are due within the next 3 weeks!!!!!!!!!!!
