Albright College

Tonight starts the official kick-off of Alpha Delta Pi’s Rock-A-Thon. What’s a Rock-a-Thon? Well, it is where the sisters of ADPi continuously rock for 72 hours, from tonight at 8 PM, until Friday at 8 PM. There are always 3 sisters rocking at the same time. All the money that we raise goes to the Ronald McDonald House, our philanthropy.

The best part about Rock-A-Thon is that the whole Albright Community gets involved. Different organizations around campus bring us hot chocolate and coffee as we rock in the early mornings. It is really great to spend time with sisters and other guests as they stop by our tent.

It is small events like this, the really shows how everyone at Albright is so caring. Students donate money as they walk by us rocking on Kelchner field, and all of the professors make sure to ask all of the sisters how out Philanthropy Week is going. Everyone cares about one another. Tomorrow, President McMillian is rocking with us at 1:30 PM! All of the sisters are so excited.

On another note, it’s Game 6 tomorrow night…go Phillies!
