Hey Everyone.
I apologize for not blogging in awhile. The past seven weeks of the semester seem like a blur. I feel like I just walked into my classes yesterday. Speaking of classes, these are the ones I'm taking this semester!!
Modern Art History
Art Computer Graphics and Design
Geographic Information Systems
Art Design
Web Design
I don't think I could pick a favorite because they're all pretty relevant to what I want to achieve after I graduate. However, GIS would be one that I've looked forward to the most. I'll let you know how I do on my first test, next Tuesday.
If you're not aware of how academics work at Albright, this might be a little insight for you. Most students usually take 4 classes a semester. One course equals one credit. At most other institutions, one course typically equals three or four credits. Here at the Bright', we need 32 credits to graduate (thats exactly 4 classes a semester for you math majors). About half of those credits will be general studies requirements. Not to worry, many of the general studies requirements cover an array of topics. Your bound to fall in love with something.
I know that I'm just about complete with my general studies and the courses that are leading to my major, well I love those even more. Academically speaking, Albright won't offer everything you want. Howewer, if I can manage my way through these academic adventures successfully, I feel like anybody can.
I wish those high school seniors the best of luck down the homestretch. Let me know what college course your looking forward to!
Peace and Love,
Brian.
