Things are getting CRAZY! “Bobrauschenbergamerica” just completed an extremely successful run today and tomorrow we have auditions for our next Domino Players’ production “Bedroom Farce,” which I have the pleasure of being the Production Stage Manager!

For those of you who didn’t get a chance to see “BOB,” it was about…well…it was sort of a collage of…everything. It’s very difficult to explain. Robert Rauschenberg was a famous collage artist and this show was sort of like his art. It was almost a museum of America…and men in chicken suits…like I said, it was complicated.

Bedroom Farce is a little more straight forward. It is a fairly well known British comedy. The show will be directed by a guest director from New York City, Jason Bohon, and the scenic design will be done by a guest artist (also from NYC) named Jason Bolen…this will get confusing. I’m really looking forward to get a chance to stage manage another show. I did my first one last year with “On the Verge” so it will be nice to get another chance and use what I learned last time to make this show even better.

During all of this, “The Rocky Horror Picture Show” has been underway for a few weeks now. We will be performing as a shadow cast with the movie and I will be playing the part of Frank-N-Furter (portrayed in the movie by Tim Curry). For those of you who are unfamiliar with the movie…Frank-N-Furter is a transvestite…and yes, I will be in high heels. I have been learning how to strut my stuff in 4 inch stilettos, fishnets, booty shorts, and a corset…it has not been easy. I’m not exactly a big “stuff strutter” to begin with so this has certainly been a new experience. We will be having one performance on Sunday, October 21^st (during Homecoming) so everyone should come out and see it!

Adding on top of this, I just found out I am a finalist for Albright Idol 2012! I am beyond excited for this! It is our version of American Idol (obviously) and the winner will get to work with Albright’s very own Lion Records!

Obviously, there is A LOT going on right now! I will do my best to keep you guys posted as much as I can!
