First Entry Is Always the Worst

Oi... How to start this? This is the problem I have when beginning new blogs or social interaction sites: the first entry. Never know how to begin it or what to talk about.

I guess I can start by saying this weekend is going to be pretty busy. In about an hour and a half, the group of students I am traveling with is going to head to Hangzhou, an area southwest I believe of where we currently are (Shanghai, China). We have planned two tours of the area today, one in the Linying Temple and one of the West Lake, and tomorrow we are going water rafting in Shuangxi! Definitely happy I brought my bathing suit along! 

For some minor info, the group I am traveling with is under the program ISA (International Studies Abroad). We are all American but have come for different reasons and are a pretty wide range of ages (I know I'm one of the youngest in the group). Most have come for business or marketing courses, but about five of us (myself included) are doing the intensive language program, meaning we are with other international students. I really like the program, as I've already met three Japanese, two Italians, and a British woman. It's very fun practicing with them all while getting to know their perspectives on the culture. I would much rather have that than be confined to the business courses, which are for ISA members only.

I suppose this will suffice for a first entry. Gotta get to packing for my trip! I'll be sure to take photos, and my website for all my photos is listed beneath in the profile information section (the shanghai journey link). Hope everyone has a good weekend, as I know I will! :)
