I finally survived living in this new city for a week so far! The metro is warming up to me since i have to use it everyday for work and also the bus; i can not get used to this hour commute! My internship at Rock Creek National Park is awesome. We go for hikes, talk to visitors, read and learn lots, and play with animals :) Everyone at the park are very friendly and relatable.
As far as the food goes here, i have yet to go out and eat surprisingly because i am so busy! That is a good thing though but it is almost impossible to be bored in Washington DC. I have met so many new people and my roommates are great we all get along so well. Lucky for me they love to cook like i do so we always have food around!
Today i am going to The National Archives with my program group and advisor Tiffani. Should be interesting i cant wait to explore!! :)
