going out with a FALL!

so yesterday was the 5K Race for Pi Kappa Phi's philanthropy, PUSH AMERICA. the brothers held this race for the campus and community to help raise money to help those involved in PUSH AMERICA, which helps people with disabilities, GREAT STUFF! so, i signed up, with no intentions of actually running this thing...im just not a runner! and lately ive had the "craving" to go rollerblading! so luckily one of the brothers let me borrow their blades! i bladed the WHOLE THING! there were 2 major hills i had to go up! that was REALLY hard! but i did it and it felt great! but then since i went up those hills, i had to get back down those hills....this was a little harder. our team, team Fantabulous! were walking with each other. since i was on the blades, and they were all walking, they helped me down these hills. they latched on to my arms and attempted to gracefully get me down these hills, it was quite a sight to see! (i'll get pics up ASAP!) so after we got down the hill, the hardest part was over! now i could pretty much just coast my way to the finish line...which i did. well with all this coasting, i forgot to mention that these blades did not have brakes on them!!!! AH! so, with all this coasting, the only way to really stop was to let me turn around and lose some speed, i did not have this option. the man tearing our numbers yelled STOP!, so by his tone and look on his face, i stopped immediately...by falling right into the ground, which was the road right outside of walton hall! i was fine, no big deal, got a few scraps but that is it! everyone thought i was really hurt, someone expected some tears, but nope, not from me! i was fine. and it just so happens that one brother who had this camcorder had gotten my whole spill ON TAPE!!!! it was coincedentally perfect! (if that makes sense) oh, and just as he decided to zoom in, thats when i fell! perfect right?! haha i had a great time, it was a great day, and i'm not even sore today! have a great end of the year everyone!!!!

PS- this week is finals week! AHHHHH!
