Haha What better way to start a post introducing myself than by titling the post with a Nicki Minaj Lyric?!

My name is obviously Andre' and maybe not as obviously I'm coming up on my senior year at Albright. You may be wondering, "how did they keep him there so long?", well let me answer that question for you: I am an Albrightian. Yes, you heard that right, this community is a family and that's how they got me to come back multiple times.

I am a senior fashion design major (formerly costume design) and I love all things fashion whether it's designer apparel or what people are wearing in the streets. As a face I'm primarily interested in getting you to know what it's like to be an Albright student. I don't see this job as selling Albright, I see this job as giving you insight into what Albright has done for me and what I've done for Albright. I have been able to do a lot thanks to the community that is Albright which includes my summer internship with an Alumna at Majestic Athletic.

For those of you who don't know Majestic Athletic is responsible for all of the uniforms (jerseys and pants) you see on the field in Major League Baseball. My foot in the door was an Albright Graduate and I'm loving learning about the licensed sports apparel business. Did I mention it's a paid internship? (those are far and few between in this day and age).

Advice for the summer before college: It's the end of June chances are you're done with school and ready to go out and party it up; GOOD! I think it's important to get in your last goodbyes the summer before college because trust me, you don't want to be that kid who went to college just to go back home every weekend! Make sure you eat as much home food as you can because while Albright's cafeteria is yummy food there isn't better cooking than that which comes from your own kitchen, seriously. I've spent so much time this summer in the kitchen that my mom now knows to expect home cooked food for every meal during the weekends. I go nuts for cooking.
