Hi!!

Hey everyone, 

Wow have things been crazy at my internship lately. I am working at the Reading Public Museum with the curatorial department, and we have a lot going on. We are organizing and intstalling 4 shows, which will all open on the same day. Days like these really make my internship worthwhile, and help me reaffirm the idea that this is what I want to do with the rest of my life. I love working in the museum all the time, but organizing exhibits and being able to help set up something that other people will see is a great feeling. But this doesn't mean everyday is something fun and exciting, some days are much more relaxed. I am doing a lot of work updating their collections information on their computer software, which doesn't involve much but sitting on the computer. At the end of the day, whether I am running around the museum like a crazy person or just sitting at the computer, I love working with historical objects and thinking about how others used them in their daily lives. I also enjoy the idea that the work I do is seen by other people, and enjoyed.
