It is hard to believe that Homecoming is already here and the weekend is almost over. This semester is going way too fast for me. Midterms is always the point where I get overwhelmed because not only do you usually have a test but you also find out about all the other assignments for your classes. Anyone that is aneducation major or wants to become an education major will know what I mean. However, I am doing what I love. Hw can I complain when one of my assignments is to create a playground for a school, with an unlimited budget and free reign in the design? My roommates always make fun of what I have to do, and make sure I know how much harder their majors are. Which living with a bio major, two accountingmajors, and a business major; I know I have the easiest time in our house.
Homecoming was amazing this year! Thank to the sisters of Phi Mu, esecially Sarah Timmons, Alyssa LaValley and their artistic abilities. Phi Mu and Sigma Alpha Epsilon swept homecoming, winnig Airbands, Float Building, and Window Painting! Congrats to all of Homecoming court and especially to our new King Andre and our Queen Julia. The best is when the alumni come up. Being a part of my fraternity, family is important to me and Homecoming is the one time when generations of our family line come together for the weekend and share stories about their experiences. You can't beat a Homecoming like that.
I will try and post again real soon, if I don't get overwhelmed again. Good luck to everyone with the rest of the semester, and to any potential new Albrightians I hope you choose Abright as your new home because it truly is.
