Hurricane Sandy
My heart definitely goes out to the Jersey Shore. I live in South Jersey, about 40 minutes from Atlantic City and Wildwood, and 35 minutes from Ocean City, and the damage is absoutely devastating. It almost seems as though my visits to the shore won't be the same! Thankfully my hometown was not greatly affected, but there were power outages, some flooding, and fallen trees. My prayers go out to those whose homes and belongings have been washed away, those who are still without power and supplies, and those who have sadly lost loved ones.
