Hi.
So, get this. I'm visiting upstate PA this week to visit students from various areas (Jim Thorpe, Williamsport, Mansfield). Did you know that when I woke up this morning... it was only 40 degrees! WHAT?!? Where'd summer go? What happened to the beaches and cool summer breezes?
Conversely, my disappointment is being overshadowed by the excitement for fall. Our office has been busy with visitors and there are some great things happening on the horizon at Albright. I'm ecstatic to be working with students looking at the college - more of which happens in the fall. The conversations, the visits, the meetings, the interviews, the on-campus appointments are all apart of what makes me tick. Even though I may be somewhat sad to see summer and the warm weather pass, there's nothing more enjoyable to me now than waking up - grabbing a cup of tea, seeing my breath while I walk to my car and believing that today is the day that i'll be able to have a great conversation with a future Albrightian.
Maybe today, it'll be you.
Enjoy your fall!
Best,
Brian.
