It's February?!

Ahhh...I'm such a bad blogger!  Note to self: avoid a career that revolves around blogging.  Anyways, a bunch has happened since last I wrote in December, but I will try to keep it brief.

1. I went to Hawaii again over the interim to study the impact that boats have on humpback whales and their behaviors and it was AMAZING!!! It was so nice to go back and served as a nice refresher for my motivation.  It's funny how the more time I spend at "home" in Reading, the more I realize that I do not belong here.  I am meant to travel, so a-travelling I shall go.

2. I have already messed up my New Years Resolutions, so I'm making some Birthday (February 7) resolutions.  After all if I mark every year at the date of my birth, that's when I should resolve to change anyway.  So here goes:

• The typical lose weight and get fit...
• Get to things on time.  Trust me, this is a problem.  I am perpetually late to just about everything.
• FOCUS! Lately I've been facing the early onsets of senioritis, even though I am a junior.  That just won't do.
• Less drama, more hugs :)
• Less facebook and less Perez Hilton (guilty pleasure)
• start reading the paper.  I feel as though that would be a pastime I would genuinely enjoy; I've just never allowed myself to do so.    

3. Today I had my phone interview for the School for Field Student program in Bhutan, which would take place over the summer!  Crossing my fingers.  It would be absolutely incredible!!

As for now, that's all I've got!
