London first day

Today has been a very long. I took my flight from Newark to London. It was only 6 hours long, thank God! The flight attendants were very nice and all had an English accent. It made me much more excited about arriving. I tried chicken curry for the first time. It had an interesting taste, but it was to spicy for me. It was not "my cup of tea" haha. I regret bringing two suitcases because it was impossible to maneuver  At least I cannot say 'i don't have anything to wear' ! Some nice guy that worked at the airport helped me get the items onto the train so i can get to the side that my friend was at to get the taxi driver.  The driver told us many tips and a little tour of London on the way to the flat (aka the apartment). The day consisted of:settling in/unpacking, shopping, buying a 'pay as you go phone' (since the wifi here is HORRIBLE), eating (different...than american lol) hor devours, paperwork and exploring. I saw one of my first double Decker buses and it had a DKNY ad on it! I also saw a DKNY ad in the airport in Newark. This is just too weird. It follows me everywhere. It is like a sign :) ha off until the next time
