Since When is Tomorrow August

I know it hasn't been a while since I posted but I have been super busy! My internship is going well. I really love the people in the administration of the ED they are so friendly and fun. I have gotten to go to a lot more meetings and continue to do discharge phone calls. The chair of the department actually offered me a job for the semester! Unfortunately I won't be able to take it because of how busy I am during the school year, but it goes to show how great internships can be for jobs and connections! This internship has really made me take a second look at my career aspects. Before it I was definitely sure that I wanted to eventually become an administrator. Now I am kind of unsure. It is definitely not the most glamorous of jobs, especially in a hospital setting. So I will have to see where medical school and beyond takes me.
In other news, I have been doing tons to get ready for the school year as President of the Student Government Association. Just a lot of preparation so that the beginning of the semester is less hectic. But I have a great executive board that has been doing tons to help me out. I also will be leaving at the end of the week for vacation in Morgantown, WV. You may be wondering "what on earth are you going to do there?" Well I have been wondering the same thing...so we will see when I get there! It is where we wound up with our timeshare this year. Our home resort is in Orlando, FL but my mother said we cannot do something "glamorous" every year :( Two years ago we went on an Alaskan cruise and last year we were in Daytona, FL and went into the Wizarding World. It will still be a vacation (although nowhere near a beach), so I'm sure it will be relaxing. I cannot wait to see everyone in the fall. The countdown has begun!!
