The Women's soccer team currently stands at 5-2. We are having a pretty successful season thus far. We beat Penn State Berks in our season opener 4-0. We couldn't have asked for a better start. Unfortunately, we then encountered some down fall when we lost to Montclair and Goucher both 2-0. This was very hard, but it really made the whole team reevaluate our game. We practiced harder than ever and were able to come back and in our next game beat Immaculata 4-1. This helped bring the spirits back up. In a long and hot, hard-fought game we beat Delaware Valley in overtime 3-2. Just last week we beat Desales 4-1 in a great game. Then last weekend we traveled out to King's College to play them in their homecoming game. It was one of our best games all season. The team worked extremely hard and played very well together. It was close, but we won with a score of 1-0. This coming Saturday, September 29th, we travel out to Lebanon Valley to play our first conference match. This is going to be a very good and tough game, but we are excited and ready to play.
