This semester looks significantly different than the rest of my semesters at Albright.
Bed time is at 10 PM instead of 1 AM. My alarm goes off at 6 AM instead of 8 AM or...whenever I wanted.
I pack a lunch, go to work, and work all day until my hunger makes me come home around 5. This is in contrast to eating lunch and dinner in a cafeteria, going to a class every couple hours, and tutroing to fill some free time and earn some cash.
I see only the friends that I make time for instead of running into lots of folks throughout the ebb and flow of the everyday.
Working out used to happen without much trouble. Now I struggle to get exercise a couple times a week.
Weekends used to be not too much different than weeknights. Now weekends are much needed breaks.
You could say the student teaching experience is busy.
It has also confirmed what I always thought was true. I love teaching. I really enjoy the kids, I love to hear myself talk, and I am really thrilled by the notion of students learning.
I am really glad for this change of pace.
