The S Word

No not that one...I'm talking about the one that starts with S and ends in Enior. It's official I finally am one, and I'm not used to saying it yet at all. I can't believe it! These past 3 years have flown by so fast and I have so many good memories and experiences that I have learned so much from. I'm super excited but I'm also incredibly nervous every time I think about this being (dare I say it) my last year. I don't know if I'm totally ready to put on my big girl pants and join the real world but hopefully I'll figure it out along the way when I get there.

Enough of this talk, I'll get sentimental. The semester is off to a great start so far! My schedule isn't ideal but hey, I'm getting all the classes I need and I'll make it work. I have three business classes with my fellow ambassador/Face and teammate Steven Thomas which I'm super excited about! I think he'll keep me sane and we'll be great study buddies obviously. I'm a little worried about my 5 class course load but then I think back to Freshman year with all my science labs and recitations that added up to like 8 classes and that makes me feel better. I only have one music business class this semester but it's on Music Marketing so I think it's going to be pretty cool and I'll learn some valuable things to help out my friend's band back home. I also just found out that Professor Weary wants me to have a spot on the E-Board for Lion Records which is awesome! If I accept I'll have the position of Senior VP of Artist Contracts and Development. I feel really honored that he wants me to have a major part in the running of our label and I really hope I can fit it into my schedule.

We have our first team meeting of the season for swimming on Wednesday and I already have a great feeling about this year. I think our team is going to be awesome! The men got in 7 new swimmers and even though we brought in only 1 new girl, she's a sweetheart and I think she'll fit in great. I'm definitely thinking another MAC Championship might be in out near future!! Keep your fingers crossed =]
