Time Flies!

I cannot believe that it is already Thursday! This first week flew by rather quickly if I don't say so myself! Today was a really good day. I had three classes today, all of which were for my Latin American Studies concentration. I love learning about different cultures, especially regarding Latin American and the Caribbean countries. This year for my Senior Seminar, I am doing an independent study with Professor Kiddy whom I absolutely love and adore. I want to do my research on specific styles of Latin American dancing, specifically merengue and bachata because those are the two forms that I know the most about because my friends are always teaching me when I go over to their houses for family gatherings and other social events. I know that because I have a strong passion for dancing, this paper will be one that I enjoy researching and writing about.

In addition to classes, this evening is Albright's Fall Activities Fair, where different clubs and organizations on campus will discuss with new students what organizations the campus community is home to. I, myself, love this fair because it is a chance for me to meet new students and discuss with them how wonderful it is to be involved on campus, especially because it will help you break out of your comfort zone which is exactly what happened to me! Today has been a wonderful Thursday but now I am off to be on duty as a Resident Assistant in my residence hall. So until later, have a wonderful night everyone!
