What a great way to start the school year!

Now when everyone hears the terms "the first day of school," groans are sure to follow. However, when us Albrightians hear the phrase "first day back at Albright," cries of joy are usually heard. Don't get me wrong, summers are fantastic. They are a great way for us to be work-a-holics and not have to worry about academic pressures or severe time management. But there's just something about being back at college that feels....well....just right. It's so great to have everyone back at Albright an… Continue

Time Flies When You're Having Fun

So....I really could not have asked for a better summer. I had the great opportunity to live and work on campus as a Summer Conference Assistant and a tour guide for the Admission office. I have gotten to know a lot of the staff here that most students take for granted and that in itself was quite a reward. I have been to a John Mayer Concert, cliff jumping, VA Beach, and saw the new Batman movie on Imax. (By the way, if you haven't seen this movie yet, drop everything you are doing right now an… Continue

Ignore the bags under my eyes

So, this past weekend has been pretty hectic, yet at the same time it was a blast. The fun actually began on Thursday, when Kelly, Jared, Pam (all of whom are Albright bloggers) and I went to the John Mayer/Colbie Colliat concert in Camden, NJ. Though we did get stuck in traffic in Camden for about an hour (I don't know how we survived-haha), we made it just in time to see Colbie Colliat go on stage. Colbie was good, but was no match compared to the legend himself-Mr. John Mayer. John played all… Continue

Toto, we're not at Albright anymore!

So far the summer has been going well. I just started working for the Summer Conference Office this past week and boy has it been a blast. It's like I never left college. A lot of my friends are back: some taking classes, most are working at Albright, all of us are having a great time. (Last week, we even got to paint the South Lounge which was a fun and messy time!). Unfortunately, I was also killed yesterday in the game of Assasin by Zeke (Matt Bazsika). Basically, every staff member is assig… Continue

Summer Love for Albright

Though it's technically not summer yet, it sure feels like it. The weather has been fantastic and it seems that everyone is outside taking advantage of what mother nature has to offer. Just today, I was outside by Sylvan Pond eating lunch soaking up the great view of Albright College. Why am I at Albright you ask even though college has let out for the summer? Good question. Well, like other students who can't stand to be away from Albright for more than a week, I am working here at the college… Continue

Hi Sean! It's nice to meet you on this thing here haha. I am indeed kind of interested in joining the Albrightian staff. The e-mail address I'm currently using is maly08214@yahoo.com.
I was pretty excited when we were brainstorming about our business page because I'm going to Albright for business too. Unfortunately, due to some issues, we had to cut pages and the business page was one of them :-( We also planned to have an insert along with our last newspaper since it was our "senior issue" but that got messed up too...
