Hi Everyone, I just got home from my internship in FL yesterday. I don't understand how the summer went by so fast. I absolutely loved my time in FL and will miss the beautiful weather, the people I worked with, lived with and the turtles. For my internship I was a sea turtle care intern. The other weekend I had a weekend trip with my vertebrate natural history class. We went to the Poconos about 2 hours away and we were staying at Bear Creek. The trip was a blast! During the trip we set different traps to get little critters like mice, voles or shrews. We ended up catching deer mice, red backed voles and a shrew. Hi Everyone! So my latest drama is deciding and finding an internship for the summer. I was accepted into a program with the Mote Marine Laboratory in FL. I would be a Sea Turtle Care intern....how cool! I would get to live at the beach, help take care of sea turtles and then moniter hatchlings on the beach in July-August. Pretty perfect...huh?! The next few weeks will be busy. I have to prepare sources for two big papers in my geology and vetebrate natural history courses. I have a mid-term exam next Friday plus a vetebrate natul history test. Oh and I have a paper due tomorrow (luckily i finished it up earlier this week...whew!). So I am looking forward to spring break. March 15th is my nieces birthday party...yay! She will be 2 years old and is adorable. I look spending time with her over spring break. Hi Everyone!

I really can not believe that it is the third week of classes. This is also the spring semester of my junior year. AHHH! That pretty much freaks me out. This means at the completion of this semester I will only have two full semester of college left and then the REAL WORLD!

Since these thoughts have been swirling through my mind I have been contemplating on what to do once I graduate. A recent and re-occurring thought has been whether or not to go to graduate school…
