Why should I go to Albright College?

So far I've attended 3 open houses at Albright in the past two years, once with my older brother and twice with friends of mine who were interested in coming. I went on a tour each time (if anyone can help me find out who my tour guides at those open houses were I would love it, I have a few follow up questions). But I still have plenty of questions about the college. I know I will be the one who has to prove himself when I decide to apply, but I want to see if I can put together a list of wh…

Hello! You could contact Chris Boehm one of the admissions counselors. He's on the website and knows all of us. Yes Hydriotaphia is a very good show! We were very pleased with it. The last show was last weekend, so we're done until January now. Hope you had a good Thanksgiving!

So is it fair to say that you are likely Albright so far? I know when I first saw the campus I knew I had to go there. Plus it helped that they HAD a wrestling team...the took the team away in the middle of the season.

Jerome! I know who your other tourguide was! His name is Jason..he also graduated. He was one of our only commuters last year..as soon as you said that it clicked! I'm sorry to say that both your tourguides have graduated...I do not know how to contact them anymore, I'm sorry. Yes the only people who give tours are ambassadors, students who work in admissions, so it's only one group on campus.

I'm sorry to hear about calc. There is always one class that is more difficult than the others!! You'll make it through though. I'm doing very well thank you. Our show Hydriotaphia opens tomorrow night in the theater!!! We've been working on it for awhile now. I'm really excited for opening night. It runs this weekend and next weekend...are you close enough to come see it?

Talk to you soon!

Yea the city is amazing to see during the spring and in the fall. If you have a car, its well worth just taking a drive around the city. I dont know if you have been up to the Pagoda, but it overlooks the city and its really easy to get there by car. There are a lot of unique places because Reading is rich in history. If you have played Monopoly, which happens to be one of my favorite board games, the Reading Railroad is on there. Im sure you know that and if you dont, well there is something for ya. But Reading was once a major part of the steel industry. It still is a major part but not to the extent as it was. I love Reading and what it has to offer. Hopefully you'll fall in love with the city and the school too.

Hello again Jerome!!!

After doing a little bit of research I have a definite! The woman you were referring to, who was your tourguide, was Sun. However, she has graduated Albright and is out in the "real world". But she was definitely your tourguide. As far as the male..the ony music business admissions male I know is Greg Smith and he is a blogger. As far as the other girl...haha I have no idea. I'm sorry.

Hope things are going well! Talk to you soon!!

I am sorry if I offended you in any way. Didnt realize itd cause a problem with you. But in a way it had you think of a question that you probably wouldn't ask in the normal routine of asking questions. But as far as racial slurs are definitely not prevalent. Well atleast not that I see. Now it may be prevalent depending on who you are talking to. But most of the racial slurs, such as me to dave, is just between friends. its how we joke with each other and how we are around each other. Its just like any where else you would visit. It just depends on the people you are dealing with and I would say 99.9999999% of the time it is joking and banter...just friends between friends. Again, dont base that off of just between dave and i, because other people are not like us and if they are, its friendly. Albright is by far one of the best schools to not have racial tensions and all that, but it again, is like any other school or place. There will be people that joke with their friends like that and people that wont. But racial tensions and slurs are not a problem at all.

I also havent been there this semester because I am studying abroad, so it may be different for all i know...but very, very doubtful.

Again, sorry for upsetting u but in a way im glad i triggered that question for you. its not a question that I would normally ask someone if im looking into a college, so idk if you have asked it urself. Also, it depends on who you ask. It may differ from person to person but im really comfortable that everyone will say the same things that i have said.
